Biography
Jesper is passionate about herbal medicine as system of medicine in both its effectiveness its gentleness, making it an especially suitable medicine for people in a state of great debility and those individuals who are particularly sensitive to conventional medicines.
Training & certifcation
Jesper Launder MNIMH Bsc (Hons) Herbal Medicine
Jesper graduated with an Honours degree in Herbal Medicine in 2002 from the University of Central Lancashire and now works as a registered Medical Herbalist from clinics in Didsbury, Bolton, Manchester City centre, and his home town of Hebden Bridge.
In the Clinic
Whilst herbal medicine can prove effective for a vast array of disorders, Jesper is especially interested in the treatment of long-standing and stubborn complaints, with particular emphasis placed upon stress-related disorders, skin complaints, digestive problems, and those associated with hormonal disturbances.
As well as teaching numerous courses and one-off workshops covering many aspects of Herbal Medicine, Jesper leads herb identification and wild food hunts throughout spring, summer and autumn as a way of sharing his herbal knowledge with the public.
